Men and Respect

I am so pissed! Ako na nga ang tumutulong, ako pa tatarayan…I can’t remember the last time men have treated me with so much disrespect. All they do is whine and complain when things don’t go their way. I really wish things would change around here.

F**k. I wanna quit my job.

I’m so sick of being asked that dreaded question….

My dad drove me to work today. He was going to have my sister’s car registered at LTO Paranaque. Anyway, he asked me THAT question. Of all people! I never thought he’d remember again.

As usual, I try to avoid actually answering that question by giving very vague answers. One-liners. Like “Wala eh…”, “Di ko nga alam…”, “Siguro…”.

Ugh.

Well at least I know I am not alone in this dilemma. (Yea Jen, right perspective.) There are at least four other people I know who probably also dread getting asked that question. And in a month or two, there will be just three of us left.

Which is supposed to be a good thing if you think about it.

"Fix You"

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I

Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.

I think I’m in love with Chris Martin.
Or maybe I just really love Coldplay’s songs.
This is depressing music at its best.

Vacation

I wanna take a vacation...

A really long one...

Yung tipong two weeks na wala akong iisipin about work...

Get a massage....while sipping on some tropical fruit shake...

Get a tan...eat sumptuous seafood....

Heaven...

:)

Gawd...

The last few days have been pretty tiring from me, which is actually the very reason why I wasn’t able to update my blog. Last Friday, I left work at around 7.30pm to finish my assignment for Saturday. That mission/vision thing. And my whole of Saturday was spent on Unleash. Imagine waking up at 6am on a Saturday…

Sunday morning I woke up with a double whammy. I was having fever chills and my head was throbbing with migraine. I really thought I wouldn’t be able to go to work the next day, which believe me, is not a good thought for me since I already had a lot of things lined up for the week. Anyway, I think the Paracetamol did its job and by late afternoon I was already in high spirits. The doctor just prescribed some antibiotics and a blood test to make sure it’s not dengue.

So here I am, back at work again.

Now I know I’d take any busy day in the office than lie helplessly in my bed.

What I like doing alone...

I usually shop alone, because whoever goes with me will usually quit even before halfway. Except probably my sister and my Mom, whom I share the same passion with.

I haven't done this in a long time. The last time I shopped for myself was when I went out with my Mom, Kaye (my older sister) and my balikbayan cousin Faith and her Mom to where else---the shopping capital of the Philippines---Divisoria! Haha! I was able to buy a lot of stuff, which I always find great pride and joy in . Where else could you buy 6 tops and a nice bag for only 2000 bucks?!?

I also like shopping at Market Market, although compared to Tutuban, the prices there are already pretty high. May "patong" na kase. They have a good selection of shops though.

Galleria I also like, because whenever I shop there I don't get too tired from walking since the mall is pretty small. I think its size is pretty ideal. (Unlike Megamall, which is just toooo BIG!) They also have a tiangge part where you can buy cheaper clothes and make tawad.

Oh, and one of my absolute favorites! Rustan's U! They have lots of one-of-a-kind tops, bags, and shoes that are just so cute! My college allowance was usually just spent on this store. Hehe...

I also like shopping in the States, because the malls there are virtually peopleless! Which is why I especially hate going to SMB (our neighborhood mall) to shop, because every now and then you'd bump into someone you do not know. There's just too much people traffic. It slows you down.

Do you know Jenni Epperson? That Model-turned-Personal shopper slash Host? I always watch her show, "Godd Finds" in ETC. Now that must be some dream job.

This sucks...

I don't like wearing glasses.

My eyes have been feeling pretty sore (I don't have "sore eyes" by the way) for almost a week now. I don't know why exactly. I have not been able to wear my contacts for three days already because it kinda hurts.

I'm definitely going to have my eyes checked later. I sure hope this isn't anything serious....
