My Week So Far

Looks like my projected 2-week recovery period was an optimistic estimate. I’m still having a hard time facing the computer screen (especially if it has a white background like Word). Hay…kelan ba gagaling ito?!? I was supposed to go to my doctor today but my Mom told me to postpone it to Saturday since I had so many absences already.

Speaking of work, someone from our department is also resigning this month. So that's already three people rsigning this year, and it's only February!

I scheduled a meeting tomorrow with our HR Manager to discuss the comapny's career plans for me, if there's any. I hope they won't BS us this time. But I'm quite looking forward to the meeting, actually...

Nakakainis. It really requires a lot of effort for me not to text or call him because I know I’m better off without him RIGHT NOW. But it’s so hard! Argh.

Anyway, I’m glad my boss gave me this weekend off (since I was supposed to go to work last Sunday for a project) to rest my eyes. Siguro, one week na lang and I’m perfectly fine na. Can’t wait!

Glad to be back

I am so happy to be back (both here and at work)! :-)

For the past week, I was just at home, resting my eyes and delighting on some very interesting TV shows (Oprah, The Maury Show, Ellen, Blind Date, Wheel of Fortune) and movies on cable (The Notebook, Garfield, Harold and Kumar).

I am quite happy na at least now I can actually see some improvement in my vision. I never thought this would actually get well since the recovery process took SO long. At the rate this is going, a good two weeks pa siguro before my eyes will get back to their orginal state.

But nothing to worry, as Jason Mraz says, "I won't worry my life away, heeey" (sings). :-D

The past few weeks have been an eye-opener for me. I have gone through feelings of depression, anxiety, and hopelessness. But alas, everything is now ok at Jennyland. I'm excited for next month, when everything will be back to normal. I'd probably catch up on some movies, finally try out that yoga thing, go shopping at Divisoria, finish some books, and CELEBRATE!!!
